Day 71: Marge Simpson

Marjorie "Marge" Simpson is a fictional character featured in the animated television series The Simpsons. She is the well-meaning and extremely patient wife of Homer Simpson and mother of Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson. Her most notable physical feature is her blue hair, styled into an improbably high beehive; she is proud to have never met anyone with taller hair outside Graceland. Marge was named after, and loosely based on, Margaret "Marge" Groening, mother of series creator Matt Groening.

Marge looks really great, and in my opinion a lot better than Bart before. Maybe you can update him so that he matches the style from Homer, Krusty and Marge :)

Will you make Lisa and Maggie as well?

Hi Joe,

I was mainly wondering when you're going to have your next contest?
I missed the first one and since I found your site I've been itching to get making, I've got a design in mind and i'm worried if I don't get it made soon you're gonna have thought of the idea and built it.

On another note, is there any chance you'd be interested in swapping links, (I make card models too, you may remember I left a comment on your blog about my Octo-boy design. Shameless website plug here.....)
I don't get much traffic but I'd be happy to steer any I do get towards you.

Anyway, looking forward to the next model.

Richard

Hi Richard,

I am not planning any new contest at the moment, but you can make your own toy using the template and email a picture to me. I will then try to post in this blog and link it back to your blog.
