Day 24: Charlie Brown

Charlie Brown was one of the original cast members of the comic strip Peanuts created Charles M. Schulz, when it debuted in 1950, and the butt of the first joke in the strip. He is a loveable loser, a child possessed of endless determination and hope, but who is ultimately dominated by his insecurities and a "permanent case of bad luck", and often taken advantage of by his peers. Every autumn Lucy promises to hold a football for Charlie Brown to kick, and every year she pulls it away as he follows through, causing him to fly in the air and land painfully on his back. He was never shown as succeeding in kicking the football in the comic strip.

  1. Oh cute! Are you going to do the whole cast of Peanuts, Joe? I think this is going to be a hit. Good job!

  3. Good work as always!
Woodstock would be my favourite next one from the Peanuts but I guess its not easy to design.
Hm.... is it just me or why can't I find your paper-toy-shop on the right side of the blog?

  4. If you see nothing, it means all the toys in the shop are taken.

Due to the overwhelming response, the toys are going off as fast as I list them! But don't worry, most of them will be available for download on this site at some point!

If you're interested, I just put Sulley and Mike in the shop.

    Have fun!
    Joe

  9. Wow that´s an amazing art work, i really love it.

I printed all of them and now everyone in the office has one. They love it too.

No sé si hablas español, pero me gustaría decirte en mis palabras que es una excelente idea y ojalá y sigas haciendo más proyectos como este.

Al menos en mi oficina todos se sienten como niños con juguete nuevo.
